HiBall Sparkling Energy Water Peach
After trying the grapefruit HiBall just a few weeks ago, I dug up the peach one, settled by the window, got myself a glass and a laptop and cracked it open for a review.
Taste
Much like the grapefruit, the this flavor is also just plain carbonated water with hints of fruits...peaches in this case. The aroma is fairly well done and comes through as if you are sticking your nose in a glass full of peach iced tea.
The taste is almost non-existent at first, but towards the end of each sip, mild peach flavors emerge and linger well into the finish. The peach flavor starts off seemingly real, but transitions to a more creamy, artificial peach flavor towards the finish. I didn't mind it, but I found it a bit odd.
There are no off-putting flavors - no bitter caffeine, no sweeteners, no anything.
Energy
There are 160 mg of caffeine in the can and the kick comes in gradually and can be felt within 15-20 minutes. I felt more alert and focused without any jitters. In another 10 minutes I was feeling super energetic but there were still no jitters. The effects lasted for around 3 hours and ended without a crash. The energy was very clean without any drama. Great!
Scores:
Cost - $1.99 from Target
Taste - 7.5/10
Energy - 8.1/10
Overall - 15.6/20...clean energy boost
