Cool Caffeine Caffeinated Peppermints Review

I can't say that this is the most attractive packaging, but it sure is simple and straight to the point. There are exactly 10 mints I the entire packet which, according to the back, is the equivalent of a cup of coffee.

Taste

They are minty...minty and hard. The peppery taste hits you hard and because the mints are hard, they take a long time to eat. There is added menthol, which makes each mint extra peppery and very refreshing. There is absolutely no bitterness from the added caffeine which makes the mints excellent.

Energy

As I mentioned, each 10 mints equal a cup of coffee, which means that each mint on it's own is not that strong. The problem with eating 10 mints to get as much caffeine as a cup of coffee, is that since they are hard, the process takes quite some time, unless you eat all 10 at once, which will be a mouthful. Eating 5 gives you a good and quick buzz, but it doesn't last very long.

Overall the mints taste great, but there is very little caffeine and eating a bunch to get a nice and long lasting buzz takes some time and effort. Get these mints if you have a low tolerance for caffeine and a need a quick pick-me up. If you have hi caffeine tolerance, you might need several of these packets for the day/week.

Ingredients: sugar, corn syrup, natural peppermint and menthol flavones, caffeine, magnesium stearate.
