Monster Nitrous Super Dry Energy Drive Review

I finally found the time to try the next newly arrived Monster - Super Dry. This one also has the fancy cap like the one on Anti Gravity.

Taste

At first I did not know what to expect in terms of flavour, but once I cracked it open, I realized that that this is very similar to the original Monster flavour. And by similar, I mean that it has been slightly modified, but one can still taste the original flavour but one can also taste the addition of lime and some cherries/berries. This is quite a unique twist, but it does improve the taste of the original. Half way through the can, the drink starts to leave some candy-like feel and aftertaste in your mouth, which the sweetness of it starts to build up. Being part of the Nitrous line-up, the mouth-feel is creamy.

Energy

Just like Anti Gravity, there are 163 mg of caffeine, which should get you going quite nicely. I started to feel the effects and wake up within 10-15 minutes and in another 15, I was feeling pretty damn good. The effects lasted for about 2.5-3 hours and once again, no crash at the end. Pretty solid energy drink.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: carbonated and nitrogenated water, sucrose, glucose, natural flavour, citric acid, sodium citrate, potassium sorbate, whey protein, sodium benzoate, sucralose, sodium chloride, maltodextrin, FD&C blue No. 1.

Overall - 15.9/20...not as exciting as Anti Gravity, but a pretty solid drink overall
