Zombie Blood Energy Potion Review

After yesterday's Blood Energy Potion, I decided to try the alternative - Zombie Blood Energy Potion - and compare. This one costs the same and comes in the same blood pack and contains the same type of humor, only more zombie related.

Though this one smells a lot like lime, it has the same generic mouth-feel and taste as the Blood Energy Potion, which is a little surprising. Some of the lime taste makes it through, but only at the start and a little in the aftertaste. The front of the label does not lie - "Lifeless lime flavor". Most of the taste in this and in the Blood Energy Potion comes from the high iron content - 55% of the daily recommended dose - which makes this quite easy to notice and does give both products some similarities to real blood. I applaud Harcos for putting in the effort, but I do not like my energy drinks/shots tasting like this.

The Zombie Blood Energy Potion contains the same energy blend as the Blood Energy Potion so the results were similar. I felt a little something within 10-15 minutes, but it took quite some time for me to start feeling energized. I would suggest for more caffeine to be added, but this might ruin the real blood experience and make the energy potions a little bitter. This performed better than the blood potion, but only marginally and probably a lot of the extra kick came from the black tea I was drinking. This is a novelty drink, but one of the best I have had because of all the attention to detail.

  1. Zombie Blood Energy, it tastes quite good, but the energy boast it offers is really great..
