Taste
You guessed it - bubbleberry tastes like a mix of bubblegum and blueberries...minus the sourness. I was a bit surprised at first because the green apple flavour was super sour (hehe, get it?), but this lacks sourness completely. In fact, it is pretty sweet.
I wonder why Rockstar chose this flavour when "blue raspberry" is the common sour flavour. Was it to be more original? If so, why bubblegum and blueberry? Both of these are very sweet on their own (OK, some not-so-ripe blueberries are a bit sour) so when combined they should produce an even sweeter product.
The flavour itself isn't too bad, but when released under the "Super Sours" label, I would expect more sourness...OK, even a little.
Energy
With 160 mg of caffeine this one works just like the green apple one, and every other Rockstar for that matter. The one thing that knocks it down a notch is the lack of sourness. The green apple one gave me a quick sour burst of energy before the sugar jitters and the caffeine, while this one skipped the sour kick and went straight to the sugar jitters.
