After having tried the original Killer Buzz I decided to try the sugar free version called Zilch...for zero.
Taste
As expected the taste is the same - a candy-like Monster/Red Bull combo, except there seems to be a bit more sourness towards the finish. I also noticed the drink has a thinner profile, probably due to the lack of sugar.
There is the typical sweetener taste in the aftertaste, but fortunately it is minimal. I was not expecting such a great sugar free taste.
Energy
There is no immediate kick due to the lack of sugar, but the medicinal ingredients do give you a boost within 15-20 minutes of starting the drink. I felt awake and not jittery around the 20 minutes mark. Within another 10 minutes I was very energized and felt great. The boost lasted for about 4 hours and there was no crash at the end.
